This course is designed as a general introduction to cells. We will study the similarity and differences between prokaryotic and eukaryotic cells before focusing on animal cells. At the end of this course, you will have a clear understanding and knowledge of the structure and function of membranes, cellular organelles, and the endomembrane system, and their essential role in the cell.
The knowledge you will gain from this course will enable you to move onto more complex topics in Biology and Biochemistry with confidence.
